Sigma Refrigeration is an enterprise focusing on the research and development, design, production and sales of commercial Heating, Ventilating, Air conditioning, cooling and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment and machineries for the past 25+ years. We have an experienced team that has been constantly working to give our clients innovative, durable and efficient solutions to their needs.
Few industries that we work on are the Meat industry, Dairy industry, Health industry, Hotel industry, Banquet and Restaurant industry, Distillery and Brewery industry and Agriculture industry. We have been catering not just to the Kathmandu valley but all over Nepal.
With the support of our clients and well-wishers, we will keep trying to challenge the status quo and try to set a benchmark in the HVACR industry in our country.
Message from the Leadership
First of all, We would like to welcome you to Sigma. So glad you’re here.
In the current context, Nepal’s GDP comprises 50% contribution from the service sector, 37% contribution from the agriculture sector and a mere 13% from the Industrial sector. Nepal’s trade deficit is still ravaging our economy. We are massively dependent on our neighbouring countries. I see people’s confidence in many Made in Nepal products fading and deteriorating due to various reasons and opting for foreign alternative products. People exiting Nepal in search of better employment overseas are still rampant.
25 years ago before we started Sigma, there weren’t as many Heating, Ventilating, Air conditioning, Cooling and Refrigeration (HVACR) machinery and equipment producing firms back then. So the consumers had to depend upon the foreign products. That is when we started manufacturing machinery and equipment related to HVACR here in Nepal. The road hasn’t been that easy. We have confronted many challenges but we have constantly been providing local and innovative solutions to the ones needed. We have also created a thriving and experienced team of professionals that have understood the vision of the organization and know what we are trying to give to the Nepalese market.
Nepal is still a developing country. There are so many problems here. For us, every problem is an opportunity. An opportunity to do something, contribute to society. We will always be open to collaborating with individual people, institutions or government to take forward our nation.
